His main areas of interest include Bone Marrow Transplantation for hematological disorders and targeted therapies for pediatric malignancies.

He completed a residency in pediatrics at New York – Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center and a fellowship in
pediatric hematology-oncology at UCSF, USA.

research focuses on juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML), and
he leads clinical trials of targeted treatments for patients with JMML.
Prof. Dr. Emad Ebeid
Dr. Ebeid received his MD degree in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in 1998 and he was appointed as a Professor of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the NCI, Cairo University in 2009.
In 2012 he got a Healthcare Management Diploma from the American University in Cairo.
He has been selected as a member of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities scientific committee responsible for the academic promotion of Hematology / Oncology faculty members across all
Egyptian universities.
Dr. Ebeid is a member of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the Children›s Oncology Group (COG) .
Prof. Dr. Emad Mousa

He has over 30 publications with main interest about pediatric lymphoma .
Prof. Dr. Fatma Ebeid
She is the Executive Director of Faculty of Medicine Ain Shams Research Institute- Clinical Research Center (MASRI- CRC).
Her main area of interest is the inherited anemia and bone marrow failure disorders especially the SCD and she is currently responsible for the SCD clinic at ASU, Egypt.
Prof. Dr. Hanafy Hafez
He is also the primary investigator of pediatric chronic myeloid leukemia study group at CCHE 57357 .
Dr. Hafez is a member of the advisory research committee for the Pediatric Oncology East and Mediterranean (POEM) group. The main focus of his interest and specialization is Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant. He is also interested in medical education and training in pediatric oncology and BMT.
He serves as a Program Director for the Pediatric Oncology Fellowship program at CCHE and Dana-Farber Children’s Hospital Cancer Center.
He has many publications in pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplant, childhood soft tissue sarcoma, and pediatric solid tumors.

Prof. Dr. Hisham Abdel-Azim
Dr. Abdel-Azim is physician and researcher who conduct laboratory research with aim of translating it into clinical applications .
He is a principal and a co-principal investigator on several investigator-initiated and multi-center studies.
He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.
His lab research is mainly focused on acute leukemia .
Dr. Abdel-Azim is an expert in blood and marrow transplantation, cellular and immunotherapy for a wide variety of cancers, bone marrow disorders, and genetic and non-malignant diseases.
He also has special expertise in laboratory
assessment for minimal residual disease in blood cancers and immune recovery after blood and marrow transplantation.
His research interests include infections in immune compromised host, reduction of transplant-associated complications, treatment of graft vs host disease, and use of cell therapy for treatment of malignant and non-malignant disea .
Prof. Dr. Ibraheem Abosoudah
He is the director of the Pediatric Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation program and the director of pediatric hematology oncology fellowship training program. He is also the vice president of Saudi Arabian Pediatric Hematology Oncology society (SAPHOS).

Prof. Dr. Leslie Lehmann
She became the Medical Director of the Dana Farber/Boston Children’s Hospital Global Health Initiative. Currently, she is an Associate professor in the Division of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation at Dana Farber Cancer Institute/ Boston Children’s Hospital and the Associate Program Director for Education/Training and Quality.
The overall focus of her research is gene therapy for hemoglobinopathies and complications of transplant including resource utilization (hospital readmissions) and endothelial dysfunction.
Prof. Dr. Lobna Shalaby

She is currently the head of Infectious Diseases Unit and Principal Investigator of Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Children Cancer Hospital-Egypt (57357).
Prof. Shalaby completed training in pediatric infectious diseases at the Boston Children Hospital, Boston, USA, in 2009 and 2018 and was part of a clinical exchange program at the MD Anderson Cancer Center, Texas, USA .
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Hammad

He is working in oncology field since 2005.
He had joined Freiburg University, Germany as a transplant fellow for one year and received a master degree in advanced oncology from Ulm University, Germany in 2018.
He is the principle investigator of Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia and a member of stem cell transplant and AML committees in CCHE-57357.
Dr. Hammad is a SIOP, African BMT and Egyptian Pediatric Hematology Oncology Society (EPHOS) member.
He is currently the manager of Medical Care Unit in CCHE – 57357 .
Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Salah

He is a member of the organizing Committee of ISBT Working Party on Transfusion Transmitted Diseases and has chaired the Scientific Committee of the XIXth ISBT Cairo Regional Congress, Europe and East Mediterranean, 2009.
He is also a Board of Directors member of the World Federation of Hemophilia since 2010.

Prof. Dr. Riham Abdelaziz Khedr

She is also a member in the Infectious Diseases team where she is managing infectious complications in patients with cancer.

Prof. Dr. Sheena Mukkada
Dr. Mukkada›s research focus is on detecting the genetic foundations for antibiotic resistance to improve care plans for children in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
She treats children with cancer using antibiotics to help them manage infectious toxicities that can arise from common cancer interventions.
Dr. Mukkada led a multi-institutional study using genomic sequencing to unmask the genetic mechanisms that give rise to antibiotic resistance.
