WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2022, the EPHOS initiative was launched by an Egyptian group of physicians whose focus is to promote good clinical practice and professional development in the field of pediatric hematology/oncology.
The EPHOS works to actively advance programs and initiatives in professional education, scientific and clinical research, training, and practice issues.
EPHOS is committed to supporting the pediatric hematology/oncology medical and scientific community’s ability to provide optimal, evidence-based care to patients.
In order to reach these goals, cooperation is needed between health care professionals under a common umbrella to promote health care capacities by sharing scientific and clinical knowledge.
The EPHOS aims to create a comprehensive environment for gaining knowledge and clinical support decision that are essential for the practice of pediatric hematology/oncology.
Vision & Mission
Vision :
To improve the health and a support a better future for children and adolescents with cancer, through global collaboration, education, research and training.
Mission :
EPHOS is a scientific interest group dedicated to allow physicians, scientists, and health care providers involved in the field of pediatric hematology/oncology the promotion of all aspects related to their field of practice.
This platform will allow the pediatric oncology society to share their experiences and knowledge and to develop global collaborations, and enhance and encourage education, research and propagation of knowledge.

Message from the President
Dear EPHOS members and colleagues,
On behalf of the Egyptian Pediatric Hematology Oncology Society (EPHOS), I write this welcome message to our newly established society that will have a very positive role in supporting the care, education, research and multinational collaboration that will enhance a better future for both patients and health care providers in the field of pediatric hematology/oncology.
Led by experts and international distinguished speakers, I would like to invite you to our forthcoming meeting in Cairo on October 5th-7th, 2023, that will showcase the most recent advances to the current practice and challenges of pediatric hematologic malignancies, infectious diseases, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cell therapy.
The event represents an opportunity to explore breakthroughs in hematology/oncology topics and make valuable opportunity to network with national and international figures. There will also be the opportunity to participate virtually.
We look forward to welcoming many of you to the 2023 EPHOS conference, and to continuing a year round work to support all our members.
